ICE arrests at workplaces up 640% this year

With several reports of large-scale ICE raids at workplaces this year, new numbers released show just how significantly ICE has increased its activities.

The report released by ICE says the number of ICE arrests at workplaces grew by 640 percent this year compared to last, with 311 arrests in 2017 up to 2,304 this year.

According to a 2015 Congressional report, ICE workplace raids had been trending downward peaking in 2011. In 2014 there were 903 arrests stemming from workplace raids.
