Elites at the World Economic Forum in Davos spoke of the impending end of mass employment in the developed world and the threat populism may pose. To solve those problems the elites believe they need new systems of indoctrination rolled out in schools and new tools of censorship.
Under the current arrangement, a small group of elites owns and controls most of the world. The elites believe that if people begin to catch on, before new systems of indoctrination and censorship are in place, global uprisings will be unpreventable. With the available tools people will easily be able to outwit, outpace and overpower the present systems of oppression and control.
The elites are encouraged by how effective their operations to divide the people and pit them against each other have gone over the last few years. But they are still concerned that open communication and organizing will bring about an end to their rule.
They believe that if humanity enters into a world of near total automation while they still control the means of automation, and maintain power they can hold onto that power for millennia to come. If the people seize the means of automation before that, power will become much more evenly distributed among humanity.
