Israeli troops shot and killed a Palestinian teenager and wounded around 40 others at a protest along the fence separating Israel and Gaza.
Palestinian protests along the fence are in their 48th week. Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and more than 6,000 injured by Israeli troops during the period.
Dubbed The Great March of Return, the protests call for the right to return and are calling for an end to the Israeli-led blockade of Gaza, an enclave home to two million people.
Gaza’s health ministry said a 15-year-old boy died after being shot by Israeli troops.
